Five of my class mates were attended one Chennai SHG meeting a month before. In those five, two were settled in USA and one in Australia.

WHY LESS AWARENESS ABOUT STAMMERING

The main reason for less awareness of stammering was because of Stammerers. 

Yes, the stammerers alone are responsible. Normal speaking persons definitely can not understand & also may not know what kind of problems especially emotional turmoil that all the Stammerers are facing in their day to day life.

How could normal persons understand our problem unless WE explained to them.

THE POWER OF WHATSAPP GROUP

The following was posted by Satheesh, from Trichy, TN. He is a member of Tamil Super Speakers Whatsapp Group. He is now perusing MBA at Madurai. He doesn’t have a facility to attend SHG meeting. 

But once he had visited Chennai Stammering Care Centre in the month of May’2014,stayed there for 3 days, learned speech therapy and attended one SHG meeting. That’s all. He become whatsapp member from May’2014 onwards.

CHENNAI SHG MEETING REPORT HELD ON 04.01.2015

Today meeting was a special one. I have organised a tea party for 5 of my class mates (2 from USA, one from Australia and 2 from Chennai). 11 members were attended today's meeting. Altogether 16 members were present in the today's meeting.

It's was very informative as well as an enjoyable one. Each member were spoken and everyone's speech was listened attentively by my 5 class mates.

My Class-mates
